Terms of Service

Last updated: February 27, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of FreeZe operated by Skorepa Software (Bruno Skorepa) ("FreeZe", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using FreeZe, you agree to these Terms.

1. Software Description

FreeZe is a Windows desktop application designed to assist presentations by allowing users to temporarily freeze a presentation screen while continuing work on another display. The software is provided as downloadable software via the official website.

2. License Grant

Upon download or purchase, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use FreeZe.

You may:

  • install and use the software on your own devices
  • create backup copies for personal use

You may not:

  • redistribute modified versions
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code (except where permitted by mandatory law)
  • resell or sublicense the software without permission

3. Premium License

FreeZe Premium is offered as a one-time purchase. The purchase unlocks additional features such as:

  • removal of watermark
  • priority support
  • updates for the purchased version

Premium activation is performed electronically via a signed license verification system. The license is linked to a device identifier and may require periodic verification.

4. Payments and Merchant of Record

All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd., which acts as the Merchant of Record.

Paddle is responsible for:

  • payment processing
  • tax calculation and VAT handling
  • invoicing
  • payment-related customer support

When purchasing FreeZe Premium, you enter into a transaction with Paddle, not directly with FreeZe. Paddle’s terms may additionally apply to the transaction.

5. Refund Policy

Customers may request a refund within 14 days after purchase, unless the customer has explicitly waived the right of withdrawal prior to activation and digital delivery has been completed. Refunds are handled by Paddle in accordance with EU consumer protection laws. Refund requests can be submitted via Paddle support.

6. Updates and Availability

FreeZe may receive updates, improvements, or bug fixes. We do not guarantee:

  • continuous availability
  • compatibility with all future operating systems
  • uninterrupted operation

Features and functionality may change over time.

7. User Data

FreeZe generates a pseudonymous device identifier (UUID) used for licensing and usage statistics. Details about data processing are described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranty

FreeZe is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the software will be error-free or suitable for every use case. Use of the software is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FreeZe and its developer shall not be liable for:

  • data loss
  • business interruption
  • loss of profits
  • indirect or consequential damages

arising from the use or inability to use the software.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to revoke licenses in cases of:

  • fraud
  • abuse
  • violation of these Terms

Upon termination, the right to use the software ends.

11. Governing Law
