2. Website Data Collection

When visiting our website, technical information such as IP address, browser type, and access time may be processed by our hosting provider (easyname.at) for security and operational purposes.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in website security).

3. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google Analytics uses cookies to analyze website usage.

Your IP address is anonymized before transmission. However, data may be transferred to servers outside the EU, including the United States. Such transfers are based on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

You may disable Google Analytics via your browser settings or by using the opt-out function. For more details see Google Privacy Policy.

4. Software Data Processing

The FreeZe desktop application generates a pseudonymous device identifier (UUID) upon first use. The following data may be transmitted to our server:

  • UUID (device identifier)
  • IP address
  • timestamp of access
  • usage statistics
  • optional user-provided data (name, email)

This data is used exclusively for:

  • license verification
  • fraud prevention
  • statistical evaluation
  • customer support

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in software security and analytics).

UUID and IP data are stored for a maximum of 2 years. Support or license-related data is stored only as long as necessary.

5. Payments (Paddle)

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd., which acts as Merchant of Record.

Paddle may process billing information, payment details, name, and email address for the purpose of completing transactions.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share personal data with third parties, except where required for payment processing or legal obligations.

You have the right to:

  • rectification of incorrect data
