User Data Collection in the FreeZe Software

Our Windows software FreeZe generates a randomly created, pseudonymous UUID (User ID) upon first use, which is transmitted to our server along with your IP address and the timestamp of access.

This information is used solely for internal statistical purposes, such as determining the number of active installations or general usage frequency. No individual-level tracking or profiling is performed.

If you voluntarily provide additional information such as first name, last name, or email address (e.g. in the support or license section), this data will also be stored. It is used only to process your request or manage your license.

None of this data is shared with third parties. The IP address and UUID are stored for a maximum of 2 years. License or contact details are kept only as long as necessary for processing.

The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in analysis and security) and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract in the context of support or licensing).
