Known issues

After downloading, neither the installer nor FreeZe will start.

Reason: Windows may have mistakenly blocked the program for security reasons.

Solution: Follow these steps:

1. Right-click on the file.
2. Select Properties.
3. In the General tab, you may see the message:
   "This file was blocked for security reasons."
4. Check the option Unblock and click Apply.

FreeZe adjusts the desktop configuration of your dual-monitor system and restores it to its original state when the program is closed. If the program is not properly closed (e.g., during a user switch or log-off), the desktop setting will remain on "Extended."

The behavior of the program with setups that include more than two monitors is currently untested and may lead to unexpected results.

The dropdown in the options window does not display all possible resolutions for the second monitor. Instead, it only shows the resolutions supported by both monitors. This is by design.
